NRA B.I.T. (Basic Instructor Training) is a 6-hour class that is required prior to NRA instructor certification. Cost is $100, and includes the NRA trainers guide. If this is a refresher class for you? There is no-fee.

The B.I.T. Is all about NRA instructors. How to order NRA-materials, how to complete the NRA course-report, when you can use the title NRA certified firearm instructor.

This class is required prior to NRA certification, it is valid for 2-years from date of issue. Meaning additional NRA certification within 2-years, are covered by this B.I.T. After 2-years, additional NRA certification, requires an NRA B.I.T. Refresher….
